have used one of these spro reels sens august. got to a point when i sold all my shimano stradic and super GT reels. then got 4 more spro reels. Unbeliveble reel to a super good price. the line sitts super good on the spole and when casting it just fly of the spole.

short distans to the spole from the rod so even my small fingers can get to it.

Use it for all my waggler fishing now. If you looking for a quality reel then look no futher. get a spro blue arc. the 940 is about the same size as a stradic 3500.

I have the redarc and have only used it once so far (got it a month ago). I blanked on the day i used it, so i reckon its faulty.

No, but seriously, it seems a reely (get it) nice piece of kit. I overloaded the spool and needed to take a bit of line off but once i did that it felt smooth and well made. Will let you know what its like with a fish on when it happens!
I was thinking of getting the bluearc for silverfish.

I got the redarc and it's the most impressive reel I have owned!
Smooth, strong, perfectly balanced and comparable to the TDR's.
