dried them with a hairdryer and a towel, left them unplugged for 20mins.. will they be ok?

Im not going to blow up in the night will i? :(

also if it were to catch fire, it would be as soon as i turn it back on wont it?

the trip switch should kick in before any danger, but just in case plug something like a lamp into the socket before you test it [:T]

il do everything one at a time :p i dont know exactly how much of a soaking it got... i just did the best i could, if its very little then fine but if its loads then again it will be fine :D

Had a similar experience last year.

Watering the young tomato plants in the conservatory, a little too generously, and the water trickled over the side, along the floor and into one of the set of double floor sockets... [:0]

What happened lurkio?! What happened?!?!

I chucked a wadge of kitchen roll on it and let the heat dry it out. It was about 35 centigrade in there at the time.

I have to admit I did get to the kitchen and back in surisingly quick time though. [:D]
