One thing alot forget about is temperature of water used.
The warmer water is, less soaking time needed.
For my short session fishing I keep recycled plastic bottles of tap water in bait fridge.
Its in there for days or weeks and chlorine/chemicals dissipate.
I can mix groundbait or soak pellets using measures as gear put in car.
Pellets ready when I arrive in swim so can cast straight away.

Micros aren’t something I use much, so maybe because of that I have a way that works every time, pint of pellets into a 2 pint box, just cover them (so the water is virtually level, rather than covered by any depth) once they have soaked the water up, mix a splash of Cell in them, they stay on the method perfectly, works with both Coppens and Skrettings.

Just cover pellets with water in bait box then turn box upside down with lid on.

tend to do them so they are just covered in water then leave them until all the water is soaked up
