Snipping Tool

As I said in a previous post, snipping tool is on wifey's laptop, but not on mine even though we both have the same version of Windows 7. Anyway, I fired up wifey's and did a search for it, up came the exe and another file to do with snip. I copied them over to a usb stick, made note of where in the system they were and copied them into the same places on my system. It works fine. :D

For those that use a mac the snip can be used by pressing cmd, shift and 4 at the same time, using 3 instead of 4 captures whole screen.

Yes. I use the Snipping Tool quite a bit. It is very handy.

It is also worth knowing a couple of keyboard shortcuts:

Alt & PrtScr To capture the current window to the clipboard.
Shift & PrtScr to capture the whole screen (or screens if you have two or more) to the clipboard

Once captured they can be pasted into whatever you want.
