Hi Guys, due to a massive influx of spare time, I deciuded to sort my fishing tackle out, (tie new rigs etc): I order my kit from all over europe, so sometimes forget what I ordered from where. I decided to tie some Roach/Skimmer rigs and decided to have a small hook connector attached, (as I believe the weight will equate to roughgly a Number eight shot), I tied the smallest hook connector that I could find and proceeded to tie more rigs quite happily, then to my horror I discovered smaller hook length connectors ,(in my bits box), than what I had already tied, therefore oh sages my question is, 'who makes the smallest hook connectors, (IE: those with a swivel, where the rubber sleeve comes down to cover the connection)? Thanks in advance for any replies!

The drennan size 18 quick snap swivel are the smallest i’ve found. Equivalent to a no 10 shot (according to the markering blurb)

As above, size 18. Although I only ever use them on heavy duty rigs or very positive bagging rigs. For any light, delicate or 'normal' work I always use line to line

The very smallest used to be sold by stonfo and were a very small piece of stainless that looked like a staple which was covered with a matching size length of silicone tube, tiny, effective, simple and weighs very little but no swivel, you could make them from a paper staple but they go rusty.
The snap swivels in very small sizes are either Drennan or Sensas do similar sized ones.

I have some size 24 swivels by Preston I believe they are. Had them a while so not sure if they are still available? They are equal to a number 8.

Smallest ones I seen was the drennan ones, a tiny swivel is smaller still. Or if you really want small try a tippet ring.

Picture of the old stonfo type, you could not make it smaller or simpler but all it does is stop you picking at loop to loop connections so they never really caught on in the UK.
