Slim Rod Tubes

Hi,

I want to get some slim rod tubes to put my pole sections in, in me holdall (find that normal size ones are a bit wide and take up too much room)... Anybody got any DIY suggestions??(as i'm a skinflint!!)

try good old fashened waste pipe black grey or white mate.

umm had a look myself last week in b&q seemed to be more expensive than the proper rod tubes?.i do think rod tubes are to heavy and bulky and ive asked before on this very subject i would like to to get hold of the thin oblong clear plastic tubes silstar used to give out with there top end rods a few years ago(similar to the preston top kit pole organizers you get now)[] ,they were just the ticket them...

Found B&Q a bit dear as well rocky... Spotted some slightly slimmer tubes in Calcotts in Sheffield so gonna go for them I think... Not exactly what i'm looking for but the nearest i've found so far...
