do you use a stop knot for sliding waggler method and just put a
couple of shots down the line.

Yes, keep the bulk shot together in a tight cluster, it draws the line through more positively.

You will need either a very small eye on the waggler or use a bead either side. As Steve said bulk the shot but you will be suprised just how much shot may be needed to allow the slide effect to work. I would suggest at least a SSG so a fairly big waggler is needed.

Hello

i agree with both the above posters, if you have trouble
getting the slide to work properly due to the size of the
eye, try using a silicone float adaptor with a swivel in it
to help the line move freely.
