There's enough there to keep you busy for a couple of hours. What you going to do for the rest of the afternoon?
I can’t tell you that Peter but, your back bedroom window is sticking and your drainpipe is coming loose. 🤣🤣👍

Both size 18 both B911. The ‘ X ‘ looks more like a 16 to me.

That's quite a difference to say they are supposed to be the same size.
They look like a 16 don’t they ? I was surprised. In all these years I’ve never really paid too much attention to individual hook sizes. If it’s said .... 16, 18, 20 on the packet I’ve simply took it as that. I know the Guru XS hooks are quite large for their stated size. I’ve just tied 60 for a guy and I thought the 16’s he gave me were at least a 14. They were huge. 🤷‍♂️

Thing is though, the size given is relatively meaningless without a standardised scale. Like has been said many times before, you are maybe better sticking to a smaller number of patterns and getting used to what works for you rather than getting too hung up on what's written on the packet.

I’m quite boring when it comes to hooks Sean. Canal seed and ES 41 for canals. Guru and B911 for commercials. I’m seeing a lot of these new patterns as folk drop them off for me to tie up for them. I’m too old skool now to start messing with my hook patterns.
