Whats your preferred method of keeping dry and warm during a day session.

Im not talking about overnights where the only sensible one is a bivvy, but day time sessions for keeping dry and out of the wind.

Tuck you in, warm within
keep you free from sin
till the sandman he comes

Just water proof cloaths as most of the time I am fishing matches a brolly just gets in the way and if it's windy don't even go there.

thats what waterproof suits are for, in winter I will use one, soft or not it will make you freezing, in the middle of summer in tropical storms in 20 degrees plus I strip down to a t-shirt, feels nice [:D]

I use an umbrella during the day and a bivvy at night.

However im hoping to get a korum day shelter soon, so will do away with the brolly if I get one of them.

Hi Tony yep i thought about the Korum Pram top but have a look at the JRC Stealth 5000 which is a superb brolley which can be used as a bivvy as well so you can day fish or overnight and it fits in your rod bag and erects in no time.

The Korum shelter is only ok for days not overnights
