Sharp hook.

Just been up a little stream with my 7 ft spinning rod. 2 bb float and for 1st time in months I put on a new size 18 hook on.
12 trout hooked. 12 trout landed. 12 trout hooked in lip. No disgorger or forceps needed.
Can’t ever remember where a had such a success rate before.
Normally always have a old one drop off as I swing it in.
Normally always have 1or2 not lipped.
Strange 2 hrs. But love the peacefulness of it. See no humans. Just me. Dog and wildlife ?

Looks good. Well behaved dog there. Fished with my current dog once, that was enough haha
