Minearrived today just fitted it to myXS6 onbox.Really good quality and first impressions a lot more comfortable than the original one

My new seat went on this evening, four screws, it doesn't get any easier than that

It adds an inch to the height compared to my old Rive seat which is ideal as the previous configuration was giving me pain in a knee cap after a few hours of sitting with level thighs, a massive improvement regarding comfort, and the added bonus of the drawer under the seat no longer sticks when sitting down...

I have invested in another seatbox cushion on Daves and Peters reccomendation , i must say its very comfy ,5 hours will be different lol , i will know better then . Im very happy with it ,very good workmanship and very good dealings with the company .

Do they do them for the old Octoplus super stools. The plastic seat that is supplied is shaped but not particularly comfy. It’s about 30yrs old but I love it.

@mickthechippy ......I know our Mick won one of these seats. Was it a complete refurb of the top Seat section Mick or was it a simple screw down new seat to existing top of the box?....Thank you.

As far as I'm aware Mark Mick's seat wasn't from Seatbox UK but from Custom Seatbox Seats.
I'm pretty sure that neither company does refurbs on existing seats and only supplies completely new seats.

It was a complete flat seat with the MD's Logo on it (I started a craze, such a trend setter )

it was for my Boss box, it required a little customisation when I got it due to the top of my draw box has upstands on it to hold pole float winders, half hours work screwing a batten around the flat seat base, sorted it easily, and move the hinges to suit the new height

The seat for my Octoplus SuperStool was made by custom Seatbox Seats not Seatbox UK, though I’m sure they could do one as well.. I had to do some simple engineering work and swallow some expense to make the frame part. PM me if you want exact details.
