All mums do it don't they, they have their little keepsakes of your childhood, trophies from school sports days, "merit" badges, glowing school reports, certificates of achievement, the annual calendar, family holiday photos, first birthdays etc etc just little things so they can loook back at them in the future and smile with the happy memories they bring.

This is what my mum got for me, these are what she kept in her "Alan, memories box".....

In my defence i didn't throw ink at her, she was poking me in the forehead and i swiped her hand away i had one of those old fountain pens in my hand and the ink flew out of it as i brought my hand back...but she did look funny with ink across her face ....oh and the abuse...all i did was call her Stalins wife (she was Russian)...eeeeee happy memories of my angelic like existence ;)

i was expelled from school on the very last day !!!!!! i was warned the day before the last day not to attend school , because they thought 'my gang ' would cause trouble get drunk etc , well anyway we all got drunk and then ascended on to the school , very drunk and stoned , all was ok untill we went for a ciggie in one of the toilets , the head teacher caught us and searched our pockets i got caught with a small bong a little bit of weed , alcohol and ciggies :rolleyes:and expelled lol on the very last day lol , i had to take my exams in a room on my own and was escorted onto and off the property for each one
but all in all school was awsome i was with the hottest girl in the school for the last two years , we were stoned everyday for those two years , we hads a great group of friends and it was a total laugh everyday , id go back to them days in a instance if i could .

I was expelled from the same school twice.... they expelled me but because of my "fame" no other school would have me so they had to have me back...i started back on the monday and was expelled again on the wednesday when i grabbed the beard of the pathetic art teacher who had got me expelled first time...... after a couple of months they "persuaded" another school to take me..i lasted 9 days before i was expelled from there :)

I was thinking of what memories of my schooldays I could add to this thread when I realised that just thinking back to that time even now causes feelings of extreme animosity to well up in me. I even feel some sense of perverse satisfaction in the knowledge that my old headmaster must be dead by now.
The phrase "scarred for life" seems appropriate.

I never think of my school years, being the only boy to pass the 11+ in my village primary school led to years of bullying, which affected me later in life.

I enjoyed my school days, especially the last couple of years. It was a very good rugby league school, and if you were sporty you got away with everything you didn't like, well almost.

I never did get expelled. I dont know why. We left at 15 in those days. In the last couple of months they got us to do time wasting jobs. One was to dig the garden of the vicar next door. We raced up the alley making a bit of a din. The woodwork teacher, a known thug came storming out with a lump of wood in his hand and proceeded to bash me with it. ( Being the tallest I usually got the blame)

I had a garden fork in my hands and rammed him up against a classroom wall with it to his chest a red mist clouding me. Another much more stable teacher appeared and got me to release him. Nothing was ever said about it again.

The only bad, and good, memories of school was of the P.E. teacher. He was a right barsteward. A proper bully. Always picked on me during sports because I was already 6' tall but thin as a rake. I resented him for 4 years as he made my life hell every week.
Final week in school was a cricket match, pupils versus staff. I wasn't much as a batter but was very fast as a bowler. When he was batting I was bowling and the first two he hit for fours. Then I got mad and the third bowl I did fast and short and spinning. It hit the ground 10ft in front of him to his right, bounced and spun right into his face. Knocked him clean out. Never saw him again as I left at the end of the week and he wasn't back off sick.
I did hear that he lost 4 front teeth and his cheekbone was fractured. Didn't have helmets and faceguards in them days. I had a smile on my face all through summer holidays before I started work after my 15th birthday.
