Sandy Balls, sounds like an Arabs underpants.

Lots of good fishing around the New Forest area, wouldn't be too far from the River Stour also. Good fishing at Beaulieu, Ringwood and Verwood.

I was there 2 years ago in the summer but but did not fish the waters as too many inflatable boats in the water, but this time of the year I should think it should be fairly good. but had a lot of good sport with Chub barbel and big Dace down at Ringwood on the Ringwoods AA Severals fishery. There are also some good lakes on the right hand side of road to Ringwood[cant remember the names but they are just outside of Ringwood]also as Geoff P. says the Stour Throop fishery is only about 15 mls down the road. Any way good luck and let us know how you got on
