Venue: Misterton Hall nr Rugby
Time : 9am till 2pm

Todays match was fished on the Lake in the grounds of Misterton Hall just outside Lutterworth.
This venue is 1 of the lads favourite's as it's got easy access for the disabled and it is full of fish.

Mown lawns, terraced gardens, tarmac pathways, ornamental stone pillars and a proper estate lake in the middle, thats Misterton Hall.

View of the main house from across the lake

From across the lake to the brick summer house on the lawn

No muddy commercial carp pool but proper fishing with the main species being Roach,Tench and Crucians with the odd Goldfish and Brown Goldfish thrown in.

A pleasure of a venue to fish.

16 fished today and even Tommy.T (aka whynot) turned up with his broken ankle and plastic boot to cover it.

Nice to see you back on the bank Tommy thumbsup.gif Datafile.jpg

Well onto the fishing.
All 16 anglers caught with the lowest weight being 4lb top 6 weights were :

1st...Maurice Law....23lb
2nd...Malc Doyle.....22lb 15oz
3rd...Rob Taylor.....20lb
4th...Dirk Williams..19lb 14oz
5th...Bob Berry......16lb 2oz
6th...John Dance.....12lb 2oz

Total weight caught by 16 anglers was 199lb 2oz which averages out about 12lb per angler which was mainly Tench to 2lb and NO CARP.

For those that follow these results regularly here is proof that some time's Dirk can catch a few fish.
But he lost the
side bet yet again.

Also in attendance was the little chap below all safe and well soaking up the sun.

To All,

Yes it is a lovely venue to fish, the surroundings are brill and it's great to fish for something other than the normal carp.

Teepee,
