Date : 24/09/02
Venue: The Glebe Fishery (Pools 6 & 7)
Time : 11am to 4pm

Todays match was a special match in the RADDAA match calendar as it was a match sponsored by Dave Burr who owns Rugbys biggest tackle shop known as Banks & Burr CLICK HERE to visit their website.

Dave is a friend of Roy Marlow and also a member of Roys fisheries Mallory Park and The Glebe both in Leicestershire.

Dave is also the President of RADDAA and he had kindly arranged todays match free of charge for the members on Pools 6 & 7 of The Glebe.

As well as making the match free for the lads Dave also put up a tackle voucher for the top weight by a RADDAA member on each pool.

Both Pools are about 25 to 30 meters wide with single bank fishing and each pool only contains 12 pegs.
They average 5ft deep and contain most species with the major species being Skimmers and Carp.

Sadley i've no pictures but i know Brian (aka FishkingUk) took a few so hopefully he will put some up later.

As you can see by the result Dirk took the normal
side bet, thats 2 in a row (is this the return of Dirk back to form).

As a final note i would just like to say a big thankyou to Dave Burr from all the RADDAA members and guests that fished as it was a nice venue and everybody went away happy. thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif

Nice one Malc, looks like you had a good match. PAD are fishing at the Glebe on Oct 1st in a Ashby Rotary Club invitation match, we do it every year. Last year one of our membrs won, using red kidney beans on the hook, the Carp go crazy for them for some reason.[:D][:D][:D]

Sorry about that Brian changed it now, slip of the key should of been 5lb 14oz so you still ended 9th on the pool.
