i taket that your not on msn.

back 2 the roof rack, it will have one of 3 choise's

1 go down to your local vauxhall dealer price a daelers rack+ accessories ( 100 + )

2 go to some where like halfords and see what they have to offer
again you are looking at 100 + for a basic rack

3 look for a second hand one but remember the newer the car the harder it will be to get hold of a second hand rack.

I believe that the rack that fits a cavalier is the same one for a vectra at least as far as Vauxhalls own rack is concerned. When I was after a rack I found that vauxhalls own model was the cheapest and strongest available its been in use for a good few years now and is still good. Its carried a canadian canoe for over 50miles, and regularly carried upto 3 canoes at speeds up to 80mph so I throughly reccomend them. The fitting of vauxhalls bars to a cavalier also means that there are no rubber pads etc in contact with the roof

the reason I say all this is that a m8 told me he had fitted cavalier bars to his vectra

chill out go fishing

Hi Ray,

I'm not sure if they still do them but try 'Ikea' the furniture?? store if there is one near you. They sold roof bars for most popular cars the last time I went at a fraction of the cost of most other places.

The might be called LGGA TAK P PLGA or BAGAGEHYLLA TAK, or something like lol icon_smile_big.gif

Just make sure you tie the rod bags on properly.

A fella in Stafford lost most of his rods etc when the bag came off his roof rack on the queensway in Stafford.

Its one of the busiest parts of Stafford (the dual carridgeway next to Asda Dave) & he was unfortunate enough to have a lorry right behind him when it came off.
