Hi All,
Been given a Delkim Bite alarm ..... Used it today with a Tackle box 0.75lb test curve Darent Valley rod. It was ok but felt a bit soft on the strike. I'm using a 30gm feeder catching tench and bream to about 3lb. Wondered if there was an alternative rod without going all carpy. I thought may be Korum all rounder?? Rang Tackle Box for help but think they were having a bad day. normally they are ace. I know I should be using a quiver but.....

Cheers

I use my drennan series 7, 1.25lb twin tip rods with my bite alarms, using the Avon top, works well for me when I'm going for perch, tench, mid size carp etc, when I'm wanting a relaxing session
