Ok guys, been back into coarse fishing this last year after a 40 year lay off, I’m using a John Wilson 10ft float rod for everything!!!! I fish stillwaters which hold carp to 20lb, also small rivers where I’ve had chub to 4lb+ but there are also barble present. I’m looking for what I think? They call an Avon twin tip rod, 11ft would suit the river I fish, and this may sound silly but I’d rather be under gunned than over gunned, ( smack in the middle would be great) prefer to test my skill if you know what I mean, been looking at the korum allrounder but everywhere out of stock, any ideas out there? don want to go over £75. Thanks

Been looking at these,

Tackle Box Darent Valley 11ft 1.25lb LSG Specialist Rod - (Low Set Guides)

anyone have one, and your thoughts on them?

I have one of these.https://www.tacklebox.co.uk/rods-en/specialist/specialist-rods/tackle-box-darent-valley-11ft-1.25lb-avon-quiver-twin-tip-rod.html
I use it for legering for chub and hopefully barbel. The rods are well finished and very good value for money. I don't think you would be disappointed with a Darent Valley rod.
