Guy's after many years absence have rediscovered the joy of maggott drowning. I've even managed to persuade the better half to spend a week in a cottage fronting the Yare at Brundall. Any tips would be most welcome!
The last time I fished the Yare it fished best in the evening once the boats had settled down. During the day was a bit hit and miss with mainly small roach appearing, but the evening was a different story with some decent Bream and larger Roach.
Try a little pre-baiting for breakfast, a little shopping for lunch and when the missus is nicely settled, nip out back and fish through the evening
