Hi all
Staying a few days in this area next week, just wondered if anyone has info on day tickets on the Wye here. General course fishing (roach, chub, barbel etc.) Will call at Woodys tackle shop, but would like some prior info, for parking etc. Tried the H&DAA website, but can't find much on there regarding venues & access.

Thanks,

If you are prepared to pay for peace and quiet, then check out the Wye and Usk foundation ‘fishing passport‘ stretches.

most are £25 -30 per day and have to be booked in advance.

Woody will put you right mate. Not sure but l think you may be able to park in Asda. There is a carpark on the other side of the bridge from Asda opposite the church. Again, ask Woody about this.

Be aware that in summer conditions its a bit of a scramble down to most of the hereford pegs, it doesnt appear to be comfy fishing.
