I headed down the Tees today for my 1st river session of the season, i arrived around 8.30am and setup in one of my fav pegs, one rod setup on meat, the other on pellet.
After about a hour i had a real wrap around on the meat rod, struck into thin air[
]
The same again happened about 20 mins later.
Time for a quick move upstream.
I fired out the same baits on both rods, 45 mins later i latched onto what i 1st thought was a chub because of the lack of fight, lol how wrong i was, 5 mins later and im looking at my PB barbel, the kick in the teeth was i hadent packed my scales.
It beats my PB of 6lb 10oz, any guesses of the weight?
Sorry for the picture quality, my mobile aint really up to it[
