river swale... info needed

hi all im thinkin of fishing the river swale for the 1st time this year..and would like any info at all on where are the best spots, tactics, and baits to use for barbel chub and perch

yer of cause i mean after the close season just not done a lot of river fishing so wanted to get as much info in as early as possible

so have the fished the swale much then

I fish it most weeks, best river in Yorkshire in my opinion. If you want a list of ticket waters let me know, or as I say try the guy in the Boroughbridge tackle shop, he really does know the Swale.
