River float rod

Hi all... I'm looking for a river float rod, something I can use for waggler and stick float... probably in the £90-£120 bracket.
What's good out there and worth considering

That sort of price bracket is a bit of a blank spot for proper actioned float rods. Shakespeare have or are bringing out some traditional float rods in I think that £80-100 range which might be worth a look. Can’t recall what they are called but have been in the angling times a couple times recently. Or you could try negotiating with Cadence on a CR10 #1 as could probably get one down to £120.

Drennan Matchpro Ultralight if you can stretch to it but it's a bit above your price range. I've used the 14ft on the Ribble for a few years and it's superb for stick and wag.

What species are you targeting, what rivers are you fishing and what length of rod are you looking at?

I can recommend the Advanta match rods. I think they are AD’s own brand, I bought a 12ft x 3 piece and was so impressed I bought a second one. under £50. Very good value for money.
