Does anyone use the 'Reset Form/Fields' button on the reply boxes as I am thinking about removing it as it seems to cause a few problems for people with wireless mice especially when you inadvertantly click it rather than the Preview button and wipe out a long post [:I]

Let me know if you do or if you want to keep it

Cheers,

I don't use it normally, so as far as I am concerned it can go. Thanks Dave.

Malc, A good way to guard against such loses is to copy your report whilst you are writing it onto your clipcoard regularly. If you then lose it by mistake, you can paste it back in.

What you do is when you written enough to not want to have to write it again, highlight all the text (there are several ways to do this efficiently), right click and select copy. Everything you highlighted is now on your 'clipboard' and can be pasted back into an empty document if you need to. Re-copy the report like this every so often to keep your 'backup' up-to-date'.

This doesn't prevent you losing it all if your PC crashes or is turned off. An even safer way is to compose your report in Word, saving it to disc every so often. When complete, you can use the same technique to get the whole thing into a MD topic.
