replacing gears on zt pro

used mine over weekend and i think the plastic gears have gone in mine the handle side was very loose when turning to whip line on the hook also when ive taken it appart its not turning the shaft the goes across the bottom has anyone been through his mess was it a easy fix not a happy bunny only done maybe 200 h lengths with it since ive had it about 18 mths maybe 140 notes and its all gone pete tong as they say been in touch with them waiting on a reply not what you want first thing in week 1 of the new year

It is really easy to take apart you just need a very fine Allen key i took mine apart to put on the new base
mines got metal gears ,thankfully

thanks for that mate ive had a price of 22.50 for two uprights with gears saying its a fiddly job putting them in so am waiting for price on just gears

I,ll get mine out shed tomorrow and have then tell you how to do ,
im sure that when i changed my base over they sent me a small Allen Key and a steel rod which put in to hold belts up while do job
