quote:'A weight of five pounds seems to be the limit by fair angling, but there are records of three huge specimens; one, weighing eight pounds was caught in the Wiltshire Avon, another of nine pounds in the serpentine of Hyde Park and a third, the envy of perch anglers everywhere, from Lake Bala in Wales which turned the scales to ten pound.
Is this possible i fought the record was 5lb 9oz or something?????
Is there any photo evidence for this occurance>>>>??????
The quote is refering to Perch.
