Unanswered Threads:

Every now and again threads pass by with no one answering them, it might be because they were missed, or no-one had the answers.
If you want to see which threads haven't been answered, go to the 'More...' tab on the top navigation, click it to open and then select 'Unanswered Threads'

A page will appear showing which threads are waiting on an answer

If you click this icon when making a post, follow the instructions in the textbox that opens...

Alternatively, if you wish to add multiple photos you can also use this option and insert Thumbnails or Full images:

If using a mobile you might have to tap the icon twice to get it to open.

Once you've done so, browse your device until you find the photo you want and select it.

The image will be uploaded to your post and saved when you click Post Reply


There are also a few options before you post your reply if you wish to use them, not necessary though....

This is how I put things on via my phone , tap the attach files button, find photo or whatever and tap it and it starts loading.

@GeoffW Click on your name at the top of the page and then from the Drop Down Menu select Ignoring
You should be able to see what it is that you've ignored and edit it.

If you want to change your email address in your Maggotdrowning account you just need to click your name on the top-right, select 'Account details' , and then the 'Change' button alongside your current address.
In the window that opens, replace your current email address with your new one, enter your password, then click 'Save'

You may need to check your new email address to verify the change

I've been asked several times where to find a list of our current advertisers....

If you go to the top menu, (or side menu when using mobiles), click on the 'More..' tab and select 'Our Advertisers'

This will open up a list of banners showing each of our current advertisers, clicking on the banners will take you to their websites

Please support them as they support us

When you move your cursor over the arrows to the side of the tabs on the top navigation, a menu drops down to show further options

If you do not like the way it works it can be disabled:

Go into your Profile, top-right,
Select 'Preferences'
Find the following and you can select whether it is enabled or not:

My photos are no longer embedded in the relevant posts but just appear as URLs
e.g. In Better than expected

All the text is present and correct but where the photo should be is just this:

Pasted into my browser the photo appears so they're not lost

Is this just a quirk of the new forum or is it something that's fixable?

Similarly old links from facebook don't work - when I get an 'On This Day' alert and find a link to a fishing trip that I've posted on here I just get a 404 Page Not Found error.

@Dave I've moved to the sort of app thing, and most of the time I can refresh the page by swiping down but not all the time is this frustrating is it the app servers my connection, or am I just a **** whit. Or similar
