Looking to purchase a preston side tray to fit 30mm legs on maver mvr feeder chair.
Quite simple one would think!

Does anyone have a definitive guide - never seen so many variations!
Some look like they could take a few bait box - others you could sleep on!

Just want one to take a bait box and a few sundries, coffee cup etc but to be stable.

If they are the new 30mm round legs in the mvr range, then check the preston fitting. I do know the older preston trays, you just take out any insert completely and the brackets slide over and tighten up ok.

Using preston feeder arm, groundbait bucket and rests with it - like you say all 30mm and fit straight on without inserts. No brand loyalty on my part 😉

This confirmed what I had been thinking about the Ventalite hooded side tray regarding things falling through the gap and the efficiency of the hood.
