today i was given a pole to try, its got this on it.
sundridge carbon kortina pole,11m,9 section, put in, 960grs.
any info on what kind of fishing this is capable of handling ie:- carp or silver fishing, would be of great hepl, the pole has only one top kit or what ever its called, and is elasticatd, but i dont know the strengh, does any one know where i can get a good cheap elastication kit (online)to use, i would like to catch any fish on it, but to be honest i dont know the first thing about pole fishing. the guy who gave it to me knows even less than me, and he was given it by a real dumb bloke

hi
my best advice to you would be to take it to a local tackle shop for elastication the first time as the chances are you would have hell of a job getting the old bung out, & ask him to use a new bung & give you the extractor.
asa to what size lacy to use . ive neverseen or read about that particular pole .
But as your only just starting out with using a pole i would suggest an 6-8 lacy set light this will cover from bits to med size fish which is in my opinion the best way to learn

tight lines.
