Hello,
im after recommendations for pole floats for deep water, I have just joined a new water and depending where you fish the depth averages around 10’ - 12’. Also what weight of float, I’m thinking 1g - 3g.

Thanks for looking.

It depends on flow etc. One still water I fish is in a bit of a bowl so there is no real movement and I can use a 1g slim float another is wind affected so I need a 1.5g round bodied job. I try to fish as light as I can too

It’s quite hard to give recommendations without knowing what you are targeting. If you are targeting roach and skimmers on a Stillwater you won’t go far with Colmic jolly’s/carpa porths or sensas abbevilles

I fish a natural water of around 12-14ft targeting skimmers and I'm keen on the Drennan AS7 floats. Very sturdy and have interchangeable tips to cover all light conditions easily. I use either 1g, 1.5g or 2g depending on wind conditions.
