Pole can

Hi Guys
Looking through some old mags i noticed this thing called a polecan witch is a meatl tube that you place you pole in for protecion from damage its about 30.00 just woudered if anyone has one and how good or bad they are oh buy the way it comes at 6 foot long but you can cut it back to fit your pole.Any help will be great

Use a piece of square drain pipe Ian, much cheaper or even the 6ft rod tubes which are lighter

i dont think they took off because the weight i think i remeber reading about them just go for the rod tubes
