I've been in tackle shops all round the country. I've never seen a pole alley to compare to Bobco's in size, numbers of poles, or range of manufacturers.
Only Stapely Angling, in it's Water Gardens heyday, came close. The only area that I might consider Bobco to be slightly lacking is in specialist/carp gear, particularly in the lack of the likes of Freespirit and Harrison based custom rods. However, as it's primarily a matchman's/general coarse shop, it's not a shock and I doubt that most customers would care.
