It is a hoax folks. Take a look at http://www.antivirus.com/vinfo/hoaxes/hoax5.asp?HName=A+Virtual+Card+For+You .

I was pretty sure from the wording it would be since the "CNN Anounced" is typical and the "PLEASE SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST" is pretty much a dead give away.

I imagine the person who posted it to Trogg thought it was real. And thanks to Trogg for trying to warn us.

If you get these sorts of thing, please check them out rather than doing as it suggests and "PLEASE SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST". That just clogs up the internet for no good reason.

I usually do a "reply to all" with details when I get these things.

Good places to check for hoaxes

Trend Micro's site at http://www.antivirus.com/vinfo/hoaxes/hoax.asp

Norton/Symantec's site at http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html

TruSecure at http://www.icsalabs.com/html/communities/antivirus/hoaxes.shtml

Urban Legens (good for more than virus hoaxes and a great site) at http://www.urbanlegends.com/
