Has anyone tried Pineapple chunks as a bait ? Did it work ?

it didnt work when i didnt try it
tasted nice though in a stirfry

pineapple chunks[?]
Never heared of them being used a sbait, come to think of it though, it sounds lke a plan[:)]

well ive heard of pineapple flavour boilies but never chunks. Mmmmmmm chicken stirfry with egg fried rice!!!

well i might give it a go nothing ventured nothing gained ...... im sure there must be alot of other natural foods out there that can be used

and coz there fruity then summer would probably be good

Don't know about pineapple chunks, but have you tried banana?
I watched a guy using it last summer and he was the only one catching.
It was a hot day (remember it?) and I was giving the surface a rest, I sat and chatted, and he said it works when nothing else will.
he tore a piece off a firm nanna and pushed it on the hook then he flicked it out. He said he had had a couple and I saw him land a ten pound common.
My guess is they pick it up out of curiosity, rather than hunger.
Yes I have tried it myself, didn't catch, but I will be trying it again.

I found banana flavoured boilies a killer for tench.

i've tryed pineapple boilies i made myself and they had chunks of pineappple in but caught nowt but perhaps its just me

One important thing Bob.......don`t forget to take them out of the tin because the ring pull comes off in the current.......LOL.....Haydn
