pike fishing north yorkshire

don’t know many fishing spots local to the harrogate area (north yorkshire). looking for a good spot to catch some decent pike not too bothered about it being a giant. me and my dad have never fished pike on a river before which is why we’re struggling to find somewhere. anyone know any good locations that aren’t rivers for pike?

Try the Oxbow at Cundall Lodge - that's rumoured to have one or two decent sized pike in it.
Semerwater up in Wensleydale has a decent head of pike - confirmed 30lb+ fish caught there.
Grange Farm near Thirsk has a few pike in it - nowt over about 12lb though
