picker rod

hi all
this may seem a daft question but what the hell do you do with a picker rod[?],is it anything loke a feeder rod with it having a quivertip[?]

as far as I know a picker rod is a short/light type of feeder rod that can be supplied with push in tips

It's a light bomb rod, mainly useful on canals etc. where long casts & heavy weights aren't needed.
I have one for use when wind & weather precludes the use of pole or waggler.
Works OK with small maggot feeders as well.
