Paste in deep water

how deep can you confidently fish paste? im fising a water soon thats up to 8 feet deep, will the paste stay on in that depth?

Not fished it in quite that depth but certainly haven’t had any problems in around 6ft so would think there’s scope to go deeper.

I dont think you would have any problem.just get your paste right.i fished paste down at whiteacres in over 7ft on a slight slope.only problem you might have is shipping out.i use to fish with a small free running olivet and a small shot near the hooklengths just to avoid tingles.

sorry for short response. FFuk states get your paste right. I would agree entirely. I would fish it a little stiffer. The fishery I go to is spot on for paste, in the deeper water I tend to feed 4mm pellets instead of micro. I also find there are more bream caught by fishing over-depth too.
