hey [:)]
im 15 and im looking to earn some cash. i would love to get a part time job at a fishing shop. theres a shop down the road but its only very small and i wouldnt see the need for them to employ. however fishing republic in swinton isnt too far.
what i would like your advise on is would they be able to employ me at the age of 15 and what hours would i have to work, obviously i go to school on week days, but on a saturday i have rugby training untill twelve, would it be possible for me to work after this?? and on sundays i play so im there most of the day, but i would be able to work in holidays and sundays in pre season also.
is this atall possible or is it just an idea in my head [)]

thanks in advance [:D][:T]

Go in and ask, no one here could tell you unless they have links with the shop you mentioned! Good luck with your search though!

My old local always had a line of kids wanting to do a saturday, so I cant see why yours wont. They d probably be greatful for the help if its a busy one at weekends, even if you re only making coffee and keeping the place tidy and stacking the shelves.[:T]

Not sure what he paid them, but they always seemed happy.

I wouldnt worry too much about the number of hours if you re only looking to work weekends.

I would think 8 till close would be the norm, and 10 minutes off to go and fetch the chips at lunch time[:p][:p]

Good luck to ya mate, and well done for having the get up and go to earn a few quid yourself instead of just holding out yer hand[:T][:T]

I used to work on Saturdays at Headingly Angling Centre in Leeds many years ago. You'd find me in the back room dying maggots and riddling castors most of the day, and it didn't hurt me, look at me now lol

So what should he do then??????

Sit at home and pick his nose all day??????

Just cos you had a bad experience from it, doesnt mean he will.

Nothing wrong with being a baker either. Or are you the sort that thinks doing manual labour is beneath you??[}:)]
