I don't think the weather helped, most of the fish were up in the water and were very shy in biting. I know that may sound strange when you look at the weights caught, but I fish this water quite a lot and on a typical pleasure session if I don't get at least 60lbs of fish, then I go home upset. We also have a club ban on all floating baits, which does not help when the fish are all up in the water.

The water holds hundreds of Carp to 26lbs+,Bream to 9lbs,Barbel to 8lbs, Perch to 3lbs-9ozs, Roach and Rudd to 1lb-8ozs and also holds Golden orfe to 1lb-6ozs, and recent matches have shown better results(70lbs+). (Sorry I forgot to mention the Tench to 6lbs) oooops!!

Finally, I would like to thank Ziptrev for his kind gesture of putting his fish back to give us all a better chance to win.Ha!Ha!

Sorry Trev, I thought you were aware of the format, every year we fish 3 at marston's and the trophy goes to the best aggregate in those 3 matches, but these points also are included in the season's aggregate cup, so make sure you weigh in or your aggregate will be around 5000 more than everyone else. It's the one with the lowest all season that wins it
