Drilled through a pipe?

My dad's plasterboarding a wall in the garage for a set of units to go up at the moment and managed to dill through a pipe and also break a stopcock. Don't know anything about that kind of stuff as having a sparky for dad who also seems to be able to do everything else I've never had to do it.

Ah, see it now. Previously viewing on a tablet and couldn't make out the pipe.

Alarm installers did the same in sis in law's house. Screw for the panel into a plastic supply pipe that didn't leak for several years then gave way and flooded the ground floor.
