Whats the oldest bit of kit you own, and do you still use it?

I've got a cane rod that use to belong to my granddad its probably from the 1940's, and an apollo rod (aluminium) that used to be my dads early 60's
I've still got a couple of intrepid reels that i used as a lad in the 60's
the above don't get used any more...just hidden in a corner somewhere in the shed!!!

I have a 14'Apollo Taperflash, made by Tube Investments as I recall. And bought so long ago I can't remember! It only gets used on special occasions. These were steel rather than alloy.Compared to Carbon it's fairly heavy. But when it came out it was the Bees Knees.Glass weighed a ton in competion at the time.It was about 40 years ago at least, reckon.(Memory goes after a while!)

Got a Mitchell 314 reel which I bought in 1967/8 for the princely sum of 5/5/0, and it's still in use today. [:)][8D]
Another piece of kit, a lot smaller than that, is the Lesney bread bait press, where you place a piece of bread into the press wind the thumb screw down and the bread is pressed into two rectangular baits complete with holes for the hook to pass through that cost me 2/6d in 1964/5 (I think). Has anyone else got one?
I also used to own two 10' split cane carp rods but these were stolen from my dad's house about 6 yrs ago when he moved ito a nursing home.
These were also bought in the late sixties.
As you can see I've the reputation of being a bit of a horder.[:D][:D]
