I have an intermittent fault on my speedo.
I know what causes it (expensive!), but every so often the speedo stops working and the odometer miles dont change.

Fortunately I have just bought a new car so don't need to use this one.

I know it wont pass an MOT, but does anyone know if it's actually illegal to drive with a problem like this?

speedo is not in the MOT so no problem there but you do kind of need to know what speed you are doing on the road , what car is it and what model
