A wonderful man, a Brave man, a True hero.

He was at the Petwood for his 100th birthday my friend Lisa was taking the photos etc and he signed a copy of his book for her, she promised him a portrait of him holding "Petwood bear" the teddy that is going on the "longest flight" in the silver spitfire, he insisted he pay but she told him no chance it was a gift from her for what he did.

She got the call yesterday morning just as she started drawing his portrait, she spent an hour crying but decided to continue with the portrait for his family to have.
