Hi all.

Just recently been wandering down memory lane with some old friends and the name Nostell Priory arose during our conversations about fisheries we had visited.

Can anyone tell me whether this place is still open as a fishery or has it gone the by the wayside?[?]
As I seem to remember it was well featured in the weeklies as a good winter pike venue with lots of bream showing in the summer.
The last I remember about it was late 70s early 80's.

I was just on about this last week with Stu.

The middle lake used to be the most popular for pike with several thirties coming out but I haven't heard anything about it for quite a while.
The bottom lake contained a fair head of bream but yet again haven't heard anything about that either

Anyone know anything else?
