just had a call from a friend who's down the local pond ( been there since saturday, carp fishing ) and this place is really hard fishing, took me 3 months to get my first and took a mate four years.
anyway as i said he been there since saturday so i popped down to see him today.
he was a little frustrated as he has had no fish not even a run, so i sugeested i could go home and get some of my secret boilies that i made, he laughed and said "well may aswell try em, but doubt they will work down here"
anyway that was at 3:30pm and he just rang to tell me he has has 4 nice carp a 6lb 8lb 11lb and a 14lb in five hours but he has used all the boilies i gave him[:H]
so as a friend do i drive down and give him some more or carry on watching only fools and horses
i must add that he offered me 12 for a kilo, but its now started raining [?]
