Very impressed so far so shall probably be a frequent visitor.

I'm from Wakefield and fish in a division one National team sponsored by Colmic.

Anyway, enough about me.

Just commited myself for a 6 match teams of 4 event on the Thornhill stretch of the Calder and Hebble canal in Thornhill near Dewsbury, it's all bloodworm/joker fishing and I know it's gonna be hard, I like a challenge! Gonna get the ice breaker out for this Sunday []

Where abouts in South Yorks are ya from teepee?

Some great venues in Barnsley, Fleets Dam, Worsborough res, Carlton Lakes etc.

Or are you nearer Doncaster, Stainforth and New Junction Canals, the Delves etc?

Perhaps you nearer Sheffield? also a good stretch of canal there, plumpers.

The Trophy looks a bit different now. The blue middle piece was made of pot and the night I got presented with it I had got really tanked up and was dancing around with my team mates and ended up breaking it, not sure how, think I put my thumb through it, can't remember too much after all the wine/lager etc!!

You can't notice on that little pic but if you look at the full size one in my profile you'll see a big crack in the front and a piece missing in the side.

Got it fixed but the pot part has been replced with a wooden piece. Still looks nice though ;-)
