new to area! need help

[:(]Alright Fella's how's tricks?
I've just moved house to Whittington near lichfield in Staffs and don't know about clubs or venues I'am a keen matchman (but not a good one)can anybody point me in the right direction to the good one's to join, the most water, matches etc.

loads of places around that area mate, some excellent fishing in the tamworth area (ten minutes away, if you're where i think you are (Barracks??) then there's a top fishery right next to you, just past the barracks on the right if i remember correctly

Bream, carp, roach, pike, perch, trout, tench & loads of other species.

Go onto Fisheries.co.uk and scroll down to quite a large listing of fisheries in the area with plenty of links.The other one is Fishing in uk south.Hope it helps.
