First time ever on this site. Thanks to Ziptrev for the invite.
I see a few familiar names.
For those I don't know - a little bio.
- From the eastern USA - North Carolina to be exact
- Old git - turn 58 tomorrow as a matter of fact
- Fish for most species that will bite and have been doing so for around 54 years (Dad believed in starting me off young
)
- Fish mostly from my boat for all species - including carp and catfish
- Offer a standing invitation to any UK angler who happens to wind up near me for a day's fishing. If you should turn out to be an idiot (hasn't happened yet) I can always throw you overboard so all are welcome.
- No pike down here (too warm) and the perch are all small. Carp aren't in the same class as the St. Lawrence/Great Lakes area either since they are now taking the occasional 60+ common from up there but do have a lake with a good population and where no one knows how many/what size we have.
- Have strong opinions on most topics (and the less I know about them, the easier to have a strong opinion)
