Just got back to uk after 20 years in central america. Started buying a bit of, my stuff from over there aimed at tarpon not much use here.
there seems to be an awful lot of choice. More lines and hook choices than i evr new about.
Iam into Bream/Tench i dont think i will be into commercial fisheries.
any tackle tips would be appreciated, i am a bit overwhelmed by choice.
i live in Mansfield Notts, any good tackle shops nearby

believe that and you'll believe anything.
Welcome home.
I would find a local tackle shop and go in for a chat set a budget and stick to it, they should help and point you in the right direction as to what you will need.
