I went in to my local tackle shop the other day and he had some of the new anchor quick shot (well it's new to me anyway [:D]) and what a superb idea it puts small shot on your line first time everytime and with my eyes not being what they used to be [:(] when I used to use small shot out of ordinary dispensers I was guaranteed to lose at least half of them with not seeing the gap or dropping then with this new shot you lose none it comes with a red clasp which you place halfway down the hole in dispenser then you line shot up with a wheel at bottom and then push the red clasp down fully it automatically puts the shot in correct place with gap facing correct way, all you do then is put your line down gap in red clasp and Bobs yer uncle it's done what a superb idea.

If anyone wants to order this shot e mail me your details and I will let you know the tackle shop number ( thats if it's ok with Dave of course) I am currently trying for a discount for MD members from my local tackle shop so watch this space.

Sizes start at 8 and go to 14

Good idea and removes a lot of hassle with the smaller shot

Martin,

I wouldn't know what to do with a size 24 hook even if I could see it. [:D]

.... and I don't reckon I could pick up a splitshot smaller than a no. 4. [8D]

Hi,
sounds good to me. Seeing a no.8 shot is one thing. Picking one up is another.Getting it to stay put on the line is always a bonus.
Have to get some.
Cheers.[:D][:D][:D]
